March- What am I working on? :)

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a good to decent month so far! This month I've mostly been working on back-end stuff such as shipping out all the floral dragon rewards & prepping for the next shop update. I've also been having fun making more shirt sketches but its hard to decide what I want to actually make into shirts, haha! Lmk what you think about em!!

Unfortunate news but for these pins, I've been using a different manufacturer from my normal manu since my normal manu doesn't offer the black metal plating that is crucial for the design of these pins. The manufacturer for these pins let me know last week that there's an issue with the main pin where the print elements have a lot of overbleed. You can see it more in the right image, but this also effects how much the glow in the dark spots can be seen. Unfortunately this means that all the main pins are currently being remade. At least the mini pins have no issue, so they'll be quality checked in the meantime. Very sorry for the inconvenience to anyone waiting, and thanks much for your patience <3

Enamel Pins!

I just got these photos of the new pins from my manu yesterday!! So cute! I can't wait to get them in hand and take some photos myself! :>

Yippee! All floral dragon rewards were sent out this month! :D (*Except for 3 people with surveys that aren't yet filled out). But since they're 98% shipped now, they'll be listed on the site on Thursday's update! :D

I'm so happy that people are finally getting their dragons in-hand, and I'm extra happy at how the photos for them came out! ^^ The minis look so cute and tiny. >:3 If you've received your dragons, let me know who's your favourite!!

Apparel!

This month I've had 3 of the designs from last month's monthly post made into shirts! I'm really happy with how the print quality came out, they're very vibrant and smooth prints! They'll be up in Thursday's shop update and I especially love the light green shirt colour of the Grass Toucher shirt. :D Which one's your fave? lmk!

I've been having a lot of fun sketching out quick shirt ideas this month! I don't know that I'll do anything with the two above designs but "the sea calls to me" was fun to sketch out! :3

Another sketch from the past being cleaned up/prepped for print! For this "dumb of a/ss" shirt, I was really struggling to pick between the two text treatments on "A/SS". The one on the left being a bit more curly and magical girl-esque, and the one on the right being much closer to the original sketch! I ended up posting both versions on the discord and running an instagram stories poll, and the one on the left won out!

This "fictional men" shirt sketch was inspired by all the manga I've been reading lately haha! Plus, I thought it'd be a fun idea for an Anime convention I've got coming up in May (Anime North!)

On the left is my first rough sketch and on the right is my cleaned up sketch! When I sketch out ideas quickly, I tend to put down every idea I want to explore in the one drawing. You can see that I ended up putting 2 different eye types in the 1st sketch since I didn't know which version I wanted to go with yet!

This "good book" sketch was made just 2 days ago! I woke up in the morning with this phrase + composition in my head and grabbed my ipad right away to sketch it out! I've been reading a lot lately and I think that's what inspired this sketch haha!

Should I make this into a shirt? Not sure what base colour to use if so. Maybe another purple tee? Or a light cyan/teal? Let me know what you think!! :)

Misc!

Return of the corkboards! I have yet again switched manus for the froggy corks, but the good news is that they also offer this really pretty light pink! That means we'll be getting in some cute pink froggy corks in the future! :D

This cute pink colour also has inspired me to make a kitty corkboard! I'll be working on this hopefully sometime this or next month! Also thinking about making dragon corkboard but if so, what colour border would you like to see? maybe white? :O

Plush! 

More shrimp progress! Currently working on getting their smiles just right (I think they need to be a lil thicker/bolder!) and then I think they're good to go!!
